Kristen Karvouni

Hello everyone. Thanks so much for checking me out!

My name is Kristen Karvouni. I’m a Professional Member with The Reiki Membership Association with The International Center for Reiki Training, a Usui/Holy Fire® III World Peace Reiki Master Teacher, a Karuna/ Holy Fire® III World Peace Reiki Master Teacher, an ICRT Animal Reiki Master Teacher, a Kid Reiki™ Master Teacher, and a Usui Shiki Ryoho Reiki Master Teacher.

I am 48 years old (born in 1976); I’ve been extrasensory my whole life…I’m a twin too. I was raised Christian and in my early to mid-twenties I was a pastor’s wife and we led the worship at a mega church. I discovered I could heal at the age of 14 when I was scheduled for surgery and I didn’t want to go through with it. I placed my hands on the area and the mass was gone. I found Reiki when I was 40 and found my home. I love that anyone can do Reiki, you don’t have to be born with it, which is what I thought about everything before my first Reiki class. I was in class with people that had never seen or felt energy before, become able to see and feel energy, and of course channel energy too – it was so beautiful!

I am currently homeschooling and caring for my special needs son full-time, so my Reiki class schedule reflects that. I absolutely love teaching and taking clients, but I also know this much needed time with my son is fleeting.

My mission is to bring Reiki to anyone and everyone that wants it. It is such a beautiful and powerful tool for self-discovery, self-healing, guidance, comfort, protection, spirit release, etc., that I want everyone to have this gift.

I use this energy for myself and my world every day, multiple times a day. It’s just too easy and powerful not to use. It’s helped me and my family through some really tough stuff. Also, (I forgot to mention) my husband is a homicide detective – another layer to my world, another layer to send Reiki to, and believe me, I do.

I came to Reiki from a position of skepticism. But a series of incidents (job loss, war, toxic relationships etc ) had me diagnosed with PTSD with painful intrusive thoughts and put me in a ‘try anything’ mode. In a single Reiki session Kristen cut the threads that tied my soul to people who I was meant to move on from and allowed me to evolve as a human and a parent. I can’t recommend Kristen enough. Her powers as a healer are authentic and her heart is as well. Astonishingly powerful and beautiful, breath in deeply breath out deeply. She is a Shaman.
